Golden Globe winner, Grammy nominee, ShowWest winner, accomplished singer, film star and Broadway baby are all extraordinary titles to describe the iconic Pia Zadora! A prolific performer since the age of six, Pia’s critical and commercial acclaim is undeniable and audiences still describe the multi-talented artist with the first phrase that comes to mind:
The Complete Entertainer.

Pia’s career in show business began on the Broadway stage alongside Tallulah Bankhead, after she was discovered studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Art. This led to a number of Broadway runs including a two-year stint as Tevye’s youngest daughter in the original Broadway cast of Fiddler On the Roof with Zero Mostel, the Broadway adaptation of The World of Henry Orient and featured roles in Applause, Promises Promises, The Sound of Music, Little Mary Sunshine, Funny Girl, Damn Yankees, Crazy for You and Dames At Sea. Pia also began appearing on television in The Nurses, The Defenders, Ed Sullivan and The Perry Como Show.

After her successful transition to the screen, Pia landed leading roles in Hollywood films opposite Orson Welles in The Lonely Lady and Stacy Keach in Butterfly, for which she won a Golden Globe Award. Pia then carried featured roles that showed off her vivacious personality and comedic talents in the cult classics Hairspray and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult alongside Leslie Nielsen.
